Aromatherapy adds the use of essential oils (highly concentrated plant oils with therapeutic qualities) to your massage service. During an aromatherapy massage, you inhale these essential oil molecules and absorb them through your skin.

They are thought to promote beneficial changes in your mind and body via the olfactory nerve. This directly affects the limbic system of the brain, which is known to be involved in emotion.

Cupping Therapy
Cupping Therapy

Great for athletes and those who hold their stress in their bodies: cupping works by using glass, plastic, or silicone cups applied to the skin with vacuum pressure. The effects are similar to a deep tissue massage, but the technique is reversed as a lift is used instead of downward pressure.

Emily practices active cupping which avoids the typical "bruising" associated with traditional Chinese cupping methods. A session will seamlessly blend the use of cups and hands on massage work.

This modality is effective for relieving tight muscles, loosening adhesions in the fascia, boosting lymphatic flow, and decreasing inflammation by bringing hydration and circulation to the muscles. Your body will feel a big difference!

Massage is very beneficial throughout all stages of pregnancy. The human body undergoes a lot of changes during those 9 months. It is an amazingly beautiful process, but it can be an exhausting and sometimes painful time for the mother.

A Prenatal massage can help reduce common discomforts associated with pregnancy. The hormone regulating benefits of massage are also very healthy for both mama and baby. Careful bolstering is used to ensure comfort and safety.

Emily is the definition of therapeutic. I am most impressed with her versatility and professionalism. I first found her when I had an awful migraine, hoping for relief. She worked in a very gentle and soothing way. I next saw her for some lower back/hip pain. She was very skilled there with much deeper work as well.
